IPLEX 2019 Opens its door by Mr. D. V. Sadananda Gowda, Honorable Union Minster, Chemical and Petrochemical, Government of India, South India’s Largest Plastics Show at BIEC, Bangalore

South India’s largest plastic exposition, IPLEX 2019 is inaugurated by Mr. D. V. Sadananda Gowda, Honorable Union Minister, Chemical and Petrochemical, Government of India. IPLEX 2019 is all set to showcase the latest innovations and trends at BIEC, Bangalore. The 10th edition of IPLEX 2019 is started from 23 – 25 August 2019 and the plastics industry community is meeting again at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
During the opening ceremony Mr. Gowda emphasizes that; Instead of Plastics it should be called as Polymers, you cannot live without plastics and polymers like car, mobile phones appliances etc., the waste plastics what you see is only 5% of total plastics. We will support recycling to improve waste management, and protecting the environment. After the inauguration he visited the show and also visited the recycling pavilion and understood the technology available for recycling and up-cycling. He congratulated the innovators there in recyclers pavilion, he also expressed we should encourage recycling and Recyclers.
Mr. S. K. Nayak, Chairman IPLEX 2019 Organizing Committee and Director General CIPET said that we are working on environment friendly solutions, which will help the industry in future.
Mr. Jigish Doshi, President, PlastIndia Foundation, we are organizing India’s largest Plastics Show PlastIndia moved back to Pragati Maidan, Delhi he also said that Our Prime Minster Mr. Narendra Modi said about eliminating single use Plastics which is creating the nuisance which only 2% of the total Plastics Industry.
Mr. Ravish Ravish Kamat, Chairman PLEXCONCIL and Vice President PlastIndia Foundation, said that we are increased the export of Plastics and Polymer products, which is generating foreign currency and GDP growth, our per capita consumption of Plastics much lesser than the developed countries if you compare.
IPLEX is rotationally held once a year in major centers of South India Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi. The event provides a common platform for participants in the plastic industry manufactures dealers, buyers and end-users.
